I have been creating theatre props for several decades. My most popular props for sale have been for Mary Poppins. You can see the items listed below. I am the technical director for Merely Players in Durango, Colorado. As such I am often very busy with designing and building our current shows. If you can contact me soon enough, I may have time to create the props you need.
I do not rent props. It is just too much to schedule them for return and then do repairs.
Thank you for your interest.

The carpet bag is made from heavy upholstery material with automotive foam inside to create the structure. The bottom can be removed if you plan to push props up from underneath. I was able to get the hat rack, flower vase, a folding mirror and a few other small items inside it.

The flower vase will collapse flat, and the flowers bend enough to fit inside of the carpet bag. Actual flowers depend upon what I can get locally. It is lightweight and sturdy. An elastic cord pops the bottom up once it is unfolded inside of the carpet bag so that it stays 3 dimensional.

The hatrack folds up like tent poles. The base is made of iron shelf brackets. The top is 3D printed. I have started to use furniture grade pvc pipe which is glossy black. It doesn’t scratch like painted pvc and it is strong and pretty lightweight. With some practice it can appear to be pulled straight out of the carpet bag.

Bert’s Painting
In the final scene, Bert pulls a bouquet of flowers out of his painting. This prop uses a sleeve loaded bouquet from Magictricks.com. The bouquet can be easily tucked into a coat sleeve. The center flower is a flap with magnets to snap it back in place. With some practice, the actor can magically pull the flowers out in full audience view.
